Esimerkiksi A4 koon valokuva maksaa 37 EUR. Postikulut ovat luokkaa 4 EUR.
Kuvat vedostetaan Englannissa, joten tullia ei peritä. Toimistuaika viikon luokkaa.

FOR VERY BEST QUALITY

Images can be ordered directly from me, jp.metsavainio@gmail.com . Images will be numbered (maximum amount of prints 30), signed and there is always a document about the image content.
I'm using a photographic printing service with calibrated printers. Several materials from heavy acid free art papers to a canvas. For example a 100x100cm Moon image on linen canvas in key frames costs 390EUR, including VAT. Maximum size is 100x400cm. Large images are possible with special order.

PARAS LAATU SAADAAN,
kun kuvat tilataan suoraan minulta, jp.metsavainio@gmail.com .
Kuvat ovat numeroituja (maksimi vedosmäärä 30 kpl.), singeerattuja ja mukana on aina dokumentti kuvan sisällöstä.
Käytössäni on vedostuspalvelu, jolla on kalibroidut vedostimet.
Useita eri materiaaleja aina painavista taidepapereista kanvaasiin.
Esimerkiksi 100x100cm Kuu kanvaasilla ja kiilakehyksissä maksaa 390 EUR veroineen.
Maksimikoko 100x400cm. Isompiakin kuvia saa erikoistilauksena.

A framed sample image, kehystetty esimerkkikuva (120x55cm)

This 120x55cm (47x22 Inch) photograph costs 550 EUR, tax. included.  Acid free art quality paper, (300g/m2) mat and glas.
Esimerkkikuva Kuusta, kehyksineen 120x55cm. Tämä kuva kehystettynä ja lasilla maksaa 550 EUR veroineen. Happovappaa taidepaperi (300g/m2), paspartuu ja lasi.

Tulip Nebula, Sh2-101, a study about the scale in a sky

This time I'm zooming from 23 to 0,5 degrees of sky at the direction of the Tulip Nebula, Sh2-101 in Cygnus.

I have shot many targets with several focal lengths. Due to that, I will publish some of my material as image sets, with a different field of view and level of details. The fractal nature of our universe stands out nicely in this way and it will make the orientation more easy.

Many times, it's difficult to understand the image scale of astronomical images.
Therefore I have added a "Moon circle" in the images to show the angular scale in the sky. The full Moon has an angular size of ~30 arc minutes, that's equal to ~0,5 degrees.

Astro Anarchy, now in Facebook

I have opened a Facebook account, you are welcome to follow my addiction to astronomical imaging!

I will publish my new material here in my blog, as usual. In addition, I'll update my Facebook status regularly. My Facebook pages are not so much for personal information but they'll work as a publishing channel for my astronomical images.

My image portfolio, with all of my images, can be found here: http://astroanarchy.zenfolio.com/

The imaging season has not started yet, up here at 65N.
I'll start to post new material in mid-September, when we'll have enough astronomical darkness.
Before that, I'll publish some of my experiments with older material.

Cygnus zoom in series, the "Crescent Nebula, NGC 6888

Due the high latitude, 65N, deep sky astronomical imaging can't be done up here yet.
Instead I made an other  zoom in series from my older material to show the apparent scale in the sky.

This time I'm zooming from 23 to 0,3 degrees of sky at the direction of NGC 6888 in Cygnus.

I have shot many targets with several focal lengths.
Due that, I will publish some of my material as an image sets, with different field of view and level of details.
The fractal nature of our universe stands out nicely by this way and it will make the orientation more easy.

Many times, it's difficult to understand the image scale of astronomical images.

The full Moon has an angular size of ~30 arc minutes, that's equal to ~0,5 degrees.
